Hello, welcome to the Melbourne University Footbag Club's website. We are mostly a social club with many social functions held during the semester. We do a lot of circle kicking and some of our members are also interested in footbag freestyle. Feel free to come along for a kick.  During semester we meet at 1pm-2:15pm on South Lawn on Mondays and Thursdays, which is in the Parkville campus of Melbourne University. Our regular meets generally involve having a good old circle kick, although there is usually a bit of freestyle as well. You are welcome to come along and have a kick with us during these times or make a post on the forum to arrange getting together at other times.
We also meet every Sunday from 1pm onwards at Federation Square outside the 7/11. You are welcome to come along and have a kick, no matter what your skill level. We have a forum that is open to everyone, not just club members, so please sign up and start posting. The forum is a place where you can talk to other footbagers and get advice on all aspects of the game, as well as discuss other non-footbag related topics. Our next club BBQ will be on next Tuesday, 15th April. It will be from 12:30 - 3:00pm at the Physics Courtyard (Our usual spot, see map below). This is a chance to witness the awesomeness of our BBQ's again in 2008. Also you might even get to find out out about the infamous "blundy pancakes" ;) Hope to see you there.

The regular kicks are going to be at South Lawn at 1pm on Mondays and Thursdays. Click on "meeting Locations" in the menu to see a map. As with Last year, if you are wanting to meet at another time please make a post on the forum. Seeing as the club has 100+ members, chances are that someone else is up for a kick too. |

Hi everyone,
Uni is starting soon and we will have a free lunch in the first week back.
Also we are planning to have the best o-week table ever because we want to sign up lots of new members. But for that to happen we need your help at the table and you will have the chance to eat as many iceypoles as you can! We have a table at Concrete Lawns and if you are available on the 28th or the 29th between 11am and 3pm and would like to help out please reply to this email. Our first club event for the year will be a pizza lunch in Joe Napolitano A in union house on Wednesday the 5th of March starting at 12:30pm. After everyone has had some food we will move to South Lawn as the room will be a bit crowded and the weather forecast is looking good. This will be a chance to renew your club membership for the year and is a great chance to meet up with everyone.
